Automall Aspley Workshop

Following a significant fire incident, Automall Aspley faced the immense challenge of restoring its 2,220m² workshop. Automall Aspley needed a swift, durable, and safety-compliant solution to not only repair the damage but also to enhance the workshop’s functionality and restore confidence.

Flowcrete Pacific partnered with Multiblast Flooring to deliver a comprehensive flooring restoration. The primary goal was to install a system that could withstand the demanding conditions of a busy automotive workshop while ensuring the safety of staff and customers.

The process began by addressing the fire damage head-on. The team used mechanical diamond grinding to remove all compromised coatings and materials, and repairs were made to fix cracks and level uneven surfaces, creating a solid foundation. Flowcoat UV, an industrial-grade epoxy system, was applied to withstand the high-traffic and high-impact conditions of a busy workshop.

To optimise workflow and ensure compliance with safety standards, precise line marking was completed for pedestrian walkways, service bays, and safety zones using Deckshield UV Linemarker. The flooring system was customised to meet the client’s specific requirements while adhering to AS4586:2013 standards.
